The Lloyd Stamford, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This Lloyd Stampford was an excellent choice for a weekend getaway and conveniently located near where we needed to be in Rye Brook, NY. The property is modern, beautifully decorated, and truly impressive. Our only concern was that the walls were quite thin, as we could hear activity from neighboring rooms, such as flushing toilets. Additionally, when people were talking in the hallways, you could hear everything very clearly. That said, we appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including the bathrobes and the small dining table in the room. These are features that more hotels should offer. I loved that the beds had double the mattress covers. This made me super happy and is something I appreciate. They offered valet parking, which was ideal since we got in after midnight and just wanted to go to bed. Overall, we had a pleasant stay, and we would choose to stay here again if we returned to the area.

My stay here was great. The room was tidy and just the right size for one person. The valet service is worth the $30 because parking seemed difficult to find (I was from out of town). The staff were very friendly and helpful. I even got a text asking if there was anything I needed!

Staff was amazing. Always going out of their way to accommodate. Rooms were nice,very clean. Bathroom was under lit, shower entrance was tight between toilet and vanity. Location right downtown, e-z access to so much.

Very impressed!!! The Lloyd is a lovely boutique hotel in downtown Stamford. The rooms are beautiful. The bathroom and shower is exquisite and the bed is comfortable. The property is located within walking distance to the Stamford train station for a quick trip to NYC and located close to bars and restaurants in downtown Stamford. I will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay- room was quiet and very clean. We had a little delay getting into our room but the staff and Aaliyah at the front desk were very accommodating and so helpful in getting us settled, they provided a breakfast credit for the trouble which was a nice touch!

The Lloyd was the perfect stay for my husband and I when we were visiting family for Christmas. Samantha at the front desk was so incredibly kind and i had forgotten as I had booked the room months in advance that I had made a note about if they had a room with a bath, but she made sure we had one. Quiet, terrific staff and walking distance to drinks and food even on Christmas night. We will 100% be returning.

What a classy, artsy and chic hotel! Jackie took care of all our needs from the front desk! Charged my phone while I warmed myself by the indoor fire place on those plush long couches. Cozy! I’m waiting for breakfast to open up but from the looks of it, what a treat!The rooms are spacious, king sized bed, and decorated with warm colors. Great Big TV with Netflix and other apps. THe mini fridge area was decent, clean, no frills. Coffee machine in room and drier. Good AC an hear control. The bathrooms are beautiful, dark tiles and warm colors again. Unique and modern. Love it. Super nice and attentive staff. We had an issue with breakfast voucher booked with reservation so make sure you book that ahead. It’s worth it! Jackie hooked us up with breakfast after showing our purchase. I think I’ll have one of the three quiches this am. Yum

There are hotels you use… and there are places that take care of you. The Lloyd is the second. Every time I’m in Stamford, this is my spot — no debate. It feels less like checking in and more like coming home. During the big snowstorm on January 25, my car was completely buried. Dead stop. Snowed in. Nowhere to go. Nico and Juan grabbed a shovel and a snowblower and went to work immediately. No hesitation. No “not my job.” They dug me out like family. That moment told me everything about this place. Anyone can smile behind a desk. Very few people step outside in the cold and physically solve your problem. That’s character. That’s pride. That’s real hospitality. Add to that: • Live sax players on Friday nights — smooth, relaxed, grown-up vibe • A warm, boutique feel instead of a sterile chain atmosphere • Staff who remember your name and genuinely care Sam and the entire team consistently make me feel valued and welcome. It’s rare. And it matters. Bottom line: When I’m in Stamford, I don’t shop around. This is my home base. The Lloyd is the only place I stay.
